In 2016, the G20 China Summit will be held in Hangzhou. This is a great opportunity not only for Hangzhou to become an internationalized city, but for the High-tech Zone (Binjiang) to exhibit the featured highlights, unique appeal and distinctive wonder as an important showcase for the Summit.

Through the “Four Embellishing Projects” – embellish the city entrance, trunk roads, night Binjiang and new science-technology town, it focuses on the overall afforesting of the areas of Xixing interchange, Qianjiang Third Bridge and Zhijiang Bridge; overall improvement of bridges across river and trunk roads to urban Binjiang; landscape lighting projects in Jiangnan Avenue, Shidai Avenue, along south of Qiantang River and in the main gymnasium of Olympic and International Expo Center; renovation of the coastal area of Wentao Road; acceleration of “Three Renovations & One Dismantlement” and “A Total of Five Water Treatment”; so as to establish a unique leisure area, make the urban trunk roads a beautiful landscape and the Qiantang River complementary to the new science-technology town and provide citizens in advance with a better ecological environment and modern urban life.

The G20 China Summit is an important mission on the shoulders of Hangzhou Hi-tech Zone (Binjiang).
