Being close to the Qiantang River, Jianggan District is known as “Golden Jianggan by the Qiantang River”.
Jianggan District, an old district of Hangzhou with long history and teeming cultures, boasts the most ancient culture of Hangzhou – Qiantang River culture and canal culture and has established a unique historical and cultural pattern featuring “River, mountain, silk, tea and filial piety”.
Also as a new district and new window of cosmopolis, Jianggan District embraces the modern city image of Hangzhou - Qianjiang New City, and Hangzhou East Railway Hub. Qianjiang New City is a CBD of Hangzhou, and also the iconic area witnessing Hangzhou marching forward to “Qianjiang Times” from “West Lake Times”.
