Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Area (HEDA) is a waterside new town located at the north bank of the lower reaches of Qiantang River. It was once a large mud flat formed by the Qiantang River running into the sea. This is how the name “Xiasha” comes from.

After 22-year development and construction, the HEDA today has acquired a completely new outlook long ago. This is a clustering field of the advanced manufacturing industry of Hangzhou.
