One themed live streaming is launched each day, with dozens of cultural craftsmen with high popularity pouring into the live streaming. The online exhibitions are themed with the charm of Song Dynasty, featuring Intangible Cultural Heritage & oriental fine goods.
During the expo of last year, the two online sub-channels received more than 930 million clicks, and completed on-site transactions and project contracts worth 2.19 billion yuan. It is well expected that there will be more clicks and more transactions this year.
Offline activities: industry forums and annual industry index release
The expo also draws scores of experts and scholars from the well-known universities at home and abroad. Meanwhile, dozens of cultural and creative institutions will gather at the Hangzhou Creative Design Center on Nov. 2nd and 3rd, and four offline activities will be held such as industry forums and the annual industry index release to jointly discuss the latest trends on the development of cultural industries.
First held in 2007, CCIE as the main platform for the exhibition and exchange of cultural and creative industries in the city, has become one of the four major cultural and creative industry exhibitions in China. The others are in Beijing, Shenzhen in Guangdong Province and Yiwu in Zhejiang Province.
From 2007 to 2021, CCIE has undergone a significant transformation and has shared common growth with the cultural and creative industry. The industry has deeply rooted in the life of Hangzhou citizens and the expo has played a significant role in building Hangzhou into the national center for the industry.
