大家好，我是来自联合国统计大数据和数据科学全球中心的宋少英。非常高兴在第三届全球数字贸易博览会与大家“数端”相聚。作为中国唯一以数字贸易为主题的国家级展会，数贸会提供了展示新技术、凝聚新共识、结识新伙伴的重要窗口。

Dear friends,I’m Song Shaoying from the United Nations Global Hub on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics, known as UNBDC. It's a great pleasure to meet you in this digital way at the 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo. As the only event in China with the theme of Digital Trade, the Expo serves as an important window to showcase new technologies, build new consensus and meet new friends.

首届数贸会上，我们与众多参展伙伴同台展示了全球数字贸易发展成果。

At the first Expo, UNBDC shared the stage with other partners to display the achievements of the global trade development. 

毫无疑问，高质量的统计数据对政策制定者和企业家更好了解数字贸易发展情况至关重要，而可信、高效的数据生产则离不开大数据和数据科学技术的支撑。

It goes without saying that high quality statistics are pivotal to policy-makers and entrepreneurs to have a better picture of the digital trade, and the use of big data and data science for official statistics will help producing reliable and enduring statistics.

在联合国经社部、中国国家统计局和浙江省人民政府的关心、指导和帮助下，全球中心致力于打造高水平的创新研究平台、高能级的技术应用平台、高效能的培训教育平台、高层次的交流共享平台。“四个平台”的建设将有力推动大数据应用推广、数据科学能力建设，以及全球官方统计现代化发展。

With the strong support from, and guidance of the UN DESA, the National Bureau of Statistics of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, UNBDC is committed to forging a high-level innovative application platform, a high-level technical supporting platform, a high-efficiency training platform and a high-level exchange and sharing platform. All these lead to the promotion of the use of Big Data, the capacity-building in data science and the modernization of official statistics globally. 

目前，全球中心主要在农业遥感、电子商务及数字经济测度与分析等特定领域为各国统计机构提供服务。

At current stage, UNBDC provides services to national statistical offices around the world in mainly two areas, namely the use of remote sensing of agriculture statistics and the measurement and analysis of e-commerce and the digital economy. 

值此盛会，我们期待与参会各方携手并进，共研数字新技术，共享数字创新新经验，共探培训新模式，共促数字贸易高质量发展。

So, at this particular exciting moment, we look forward to embarking on a journey together with all parties to embrace new digital technologies, share new experience in data innovation, explore new models of training, and promote high quality development of digital trade.

我们将全力推动全球官方统计大数据的科学应用与创新发展，为落实联合国2030年可持续发展目标贡献更多中国智慧与中国方案。

We will try our utmost to advance the scientific application and innovative development of the use of big data for official statistics, and contribute more Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
