The Chinese Lunar New is approaching, foreigners in Hangzhou will also start a new year. This year, foreigners in Hangzhou will witness the 19th Asian Games together with Hangzhou citizens. 

In recent years, many foreigners have settled down and worked in Hangzhou. For better communication with foreigners here, Hangzhou initiated the "Modern Marco Polo". With this program, foreigners here can express what they want to say. Shortly after the Little New Year, JOO HAN NA and SHIN BYEONGKWAN from South Korea, and NADEZHDA BUKINA from Kazakhstan sent New Year's greetings to Hangzhou citizens by videos, and expressed their best wishes to the upcoming 19th Asian Games. 

JOO HAN NA teaches Korean at Tourism College of Zhejiang and is also an Envoy of “Picturesque Zhejiang”. She has been living in China for six years. During these years, she has become quite familiar with the customs of the Chinese New Year, such as pasting red couplets, hanging the Chinese character fu (fortune, bliss) and handing out red envelopes.
