On October 23rd, the 2024 IWWF Wakeboard World Championships kicked off in Hangzhou's Xianghu Lake, attracting 132 top athletes from 26 countries and regions to participate. The event showcases Hangzhou's impressive fruits in developing this extreme water sport and highlights its expertise in organizing such international event.
In this summer, a special team, dubbed "Shared Journey of Friendship" U.S. Youth Exchange Delegation, paid a visit to Hangzhou. They are 190 teachers and students from over ten high schools across seven US states.
