Volunteer dream of “foreign Lei Feng”

Tungamirai Eric Mupona comes from Zimbabwe, and has been in Hangzhou for five years. He is warmhearted and proactively participates in various volunteer service activities of Hangzhou, amiably called “foreign Lei Feng”.

SHIN BYEONGKWAN

SHIN BYEONGKWAN has lived in China for near 9 years and is now running a barbecue restaurant in Hangzhou, where he chose to start his business at the invitation of his partner(s). He is now busy with his business, which allows him to fly his dream, and meanwhile travels around Hangzhou to appreciate its beauty and study its culture. In his eyes Hangzhou is a city full of vitality, and he is willing to settle down here in the future.

NADEZHDA BUKINA

Nadia is from Kazakhstan. She has lived in Hangzhou for five years. After getting her master’s degree in economics at Hangzhou Dianzi University, Nadia decided to stay. In her eyes Hangzhou is a city with comfortable living environment and free, open business platforms for entrepreneurs. She is now running a culture and creativity company with her friends at Hangzhou International Talent Entrepreneurship & Innovation Park, focusing on the digital marketing of Chinese brands in foreign countries. She is willing to tell the world how beautiful Hangzhou is!

JOO HANNA

 Now teaching at Tourism College of Zhejiang, JOO HAN NA has been in China since six years ago. As the Envoy of Picturesque Zhejiang, she likes to visit and take pictures at the scenic spots in Hangzhou after work and has made a number of good friends here. She hopes that more and more people would come to Hangzhou to enjoy its beauty and unique charm.

Hassna Ennami

Coming from Morocco, Hassna Ennami is a doctoral student at Zhejiang University. She also started a business in Hangzhou. Having been studying and working here, subsequently, she has settled down here as well. In her view, Hangzhou, as the city she has been staying most of the time out of Morocco, she has deep feelings for it.This city is her second hometown.

Olivier Ruelle

Ruelle, from France, has been to China for at least 20 years. He is the founder of Minglu Consulting, Doctor of Sociology in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and settles down in Hangzhou which has currently becomes his second hometown. He believes there’s a vast market in Hangzhou. Meanwhile, Hangzhou municipal government is supportive in creating a favorable business environment, which is an extra advantage. He would like to thump up for Hangzhou’s business environment.

Roze Merie Cuevas

JAC Founder & Chief Designer, Part-time Vice Chairman of Yuhang Fashion Town Women’s Federation. Roze Merie Cuevas came to Hangzhou 10 years ago, and is the JAC Founder & Chief Designer. Hangzhou is like a treasury. The scenery, plants and historical sites here have all inspired her design. She mixes Hangzhou elements into her design, and thumbs up for the beauty of art in Hangzhou.

Fodil Selmouni

Fodil, a Canadian born in France, has been in Hangzhou for 4 years. He is a foreign teacher of English Major in the Tourism College of Zhejiang. He got a Chinese name 富极乐 by himself, meaning one can be rich if he/she’s very happy. Being in Hangzhou for long, he finds that it is a globally influential city. Working here, he would like to thumb up for the open Hangzhou.

Eve

Eve, from Lithuania, has been in Hangzhou for eight years. At present, she is the Business Development Manager of Japanese jewelry brand KAZARI. She loves to communicate with customers. For this reason, she has made a lot of Chinese friends. And also she is a big fan of Hangzhou’s culture. At her home, you may see plentiful traditional Chinese articles collected by her. According to her, Hangzhou should be known and understood by more. She would like to thumb up for the traditional culture of Hangzhou.

Jones Talmadge

Jones Talmadge comes from America. He is an actor of X The Land of Fantasy and he is good at several kinds of performing forms, including impromptu dance, modern dance, ballet, jazz, acrobatics and magic. Creation and performance are the process of mutual communication and complement between the city and him. He likes the arts environment of Hangzhou!
